Board Update - June 2025
Hello everyone! I hope everyone has survived the exams and resits :’). Although it’s very close to the end of the academic year, we still had a couple events to enjoy in June. What’s more, the candidates board was also revealed! More info will be given in the board update down below (:
First off was the FTOTM on the 3rd of June 🍻. As usual, it was a blast with everyone there! It was a great day to unwind after a long day and to grab some drinks. Unfortunately due to exams 📚, the turnout was a bit smaller than usual, but for those who were there we hope you all enjoyed the second-last FTOTM of the academic year! And for the ones who couldn't make it, we hope to see you at the last FTOTM on July 1st! 🤩
On the 8th of June was the DSL Finals watch party in Rotterdam where the Rocket League finals and League of Legends finals were streamed 🎮🏆! It was a super exciting evening and the matches were streamed live!
Moving on, the Efteling trip on the 13th 🎢 just on the last day of the exams! We hope everyone who could make the trip enjoyed it to their fullest after the last stretch of the exam week! What better way to celebrate the end of the first exams with a day full of rollercoasters? (:
Afterwards, on the 27th we had the GMA where we presented the new candidate board, and advisory board! 🙌 The new candidate board members are Angela, Jamie, Wenjie, Philip, and Rojin. We also welcomed Niels, Fynn, and Joyce as the new advisory board members. We hope to wish them all good luck onto the candidacy period or advisory board year! <3 – We know you’ll do great! 💖💪
Lastly was the bike trip 🚲🌳on the 28th. A bicycle trip cycling to La Trappe where you could sit down and enjoy some well-deserved drinks and snacks in a beautiful setting. It’s a perfect way of enjoying the summer vibes! 🌞🌼🍃
