Welcome to May’s Board Update! The month where we transition from spring to summer (in reality we got scammed cause Dutch weather)
Spring Break Party
This year’s Spring Break Party on the 1st of May was a massive success! Around 60 enthusiastic party-goers showed up and partied hard all night long. High spirits and great vibes made it an unforgettable night for everyone!
Star Wars Marathon
May the 4th was indeed with us! Our Star Wars Marathon on the 3rd of May was a thrilling experience for everyone that attended.
Book Club
The discussions during the book club were as always interesting and thought provoking. Hope to see you all you book worms in our next book club iteration!
FTOTM
Our May FTOTM on the 7th was a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Around 40-50 members made it a night to remember. The atmosphere was fun, and everyone had a good time, reinforcing the camaraderie within our community.
Coding Class
Our coding class on the 9th and 10th of May was a success! Eight eager participants, including many from the first session, gathered to enhance their coding skills. Feedback suggests that everyone learned a lot and had a great time!
Waxing Stream
On the 13th of May, we had an entertaining waxing stream, courtesy of the charity stream. The stream was a hit, providing plenty of laughs and raising spirits.
Smash Bros Tournament
A fantastic Smash Bros Tournament took place on the 15th of May. Congratulations to Kevin for winning an awesome controller to hopefully win more tournaments with.
Night University
The Night University event on the 16th of May featured Jackbox games like Fibbage that perfectly aligned with the theme of Facts and Fables. About 30 participants enjoyed a fun and engaging evening.
Spawnpoint Strivers
Our monthly battle at Spawnpoint on the 21st of May saw 9 participants duking it out in their favorite game. The excitement and competitive spirit were palpable, making it a memorable night.
Animo Boardgame Event
On the 22nd of May, we organized a delightful board game night in collaboration with Animo for their Lustrum. Different rooms hosted various games, and the event concluded with a fun session of Barbie Uno!
Park Chilltime
A relaxing chill session in the forest next to the university on the 23rd of May. Around 20 people enjoyed the new location with good vibes and plenty of new equipment like cozy blankets.
Link DnD Finale
The grand finale of our Link DnD sessions took place on the 30th of May. All tables had a lot of fun, and the DMs are currently working on an evaluation poll and epilogue. A big thank you to everyone involved, and we look forward to more epic adventures in the future!
