SSA Gala
The SSA gala was once again a big wonderful evening hosted by FOSST! We were represented by over 30 Linkies who made sure to make it a real party. We can’t wait for next year’s addition so we can show the other sports association what it means to be the life of the party!
FTOTM
Once again Linkies took over the O’Café for a wonderful and fun night of our regular FTOTM! We brought some board games from Spawn Point with us and made sure everyone had a blast in whatever way they felt like having it. Soon after this goes online we’ll be ready for the next FTOTM and we definitely hope to see you all there!
LARP
WE DID IT! WE DID A LARP!
Link’s very first LARP is a fact and was a lot of fun for all of those who joined in. With 8 NPC’s Linkies got to live out their RPG dreams IRL and act out their roles in the RT building. We hope to see another LARP in the works soon!
Barbie Movie Night
Our very own Spawn Point Committee organized another fun movie night for us! This time the movies most voted for by our members were the Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses and Barbie as The Princess & The Pauper!
Be on the lookout for more movie nights in the future! The Spawn Point Committee seems to really love them and so do our members!
Speedmeet
Organized by our Event Committee, the speedmeet gave our members, and specially our newer members a chance to get to know each other better! With alternating rounds Linkies would sit in groups and ask each other some ice breaker questions, after which it was all up to them to keep the fun going!
Mario Kart 8 Tournament (With DLC!!)
“It’s lights out and away we go!”
Linkies once again got into their virtual cars and battled it out on the race track! Not having had enough action in January they competed once more in an exclusive Mario Kart 8 tournament, with DLCS! Players got to relive their favorite Wii and Nintendo DS tracks. The winner got a choice out of some very cuddly looking Mario Kart themed plushies and surely left the tournament feeling happier than before!
Link x Checkmates
Together with Checkmates we hosted a unique first time chess event! Linkies got to battle it out against a chess master in a 12v1 battle, sadly he was indeed too good of a master and bested the best of us. Ignoring that, Linkies played a lot more matches against each other and against some people from Checkmates. Fun prizes were won at the end and it was an overall fun event!
Freshie Dinner
What a way to close out the month! We invited our very freshest of Freshies to have a dinner and have a chance to get to know each other a bit better! There was no place better to hold a dinner like this than Xu Noodle Bar! We want to thank everyone who showed up, and to those who couldn’t make it we hope to see you at future events! :)
